Competition Terms and Conditions

Please read these competition rules carefully. If you enter our competition, we will assume that you have read these rules and that you agree to them.

1. To enter a competition you must be UK resident

2. Competitions are not open to employees or contractors to Private Eye Property Ltd.

3. No purchase necessary.

4. If you want to enter a competition you may enter via the website by becoming a registered user and advising referring users to enter your email address as the promotional code. Alternatively you may forward the link found at the top of your user account which will link anyone you referer to a page already containing your email.

5. Sending an e-mail is not proof that we have received your entry. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost or delayed, or which are not received for any reason.

6. There will be two winners. One will be the entrant that introduces the most new users to the site in August. And one winner will be the entrant whos users post the most properties, this will be cumulative. For example where three users introduced they all list ten properties the total used for consideration will be thirty properties.

7. The opening date is the 1st August at 00:01. Private Eye Property reserves the right to amend the cometition start date and time at any time.  

8. The closing date is the 31st August at 11:59. Private Eye Property reserves the right to amend the cometition closing date and time at any time. 

9. If you win a competition, we will notify you by post and e-mail. The judges' decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

10. You can find out who has won a particular competition by sending a stamped addressed envelope, marked with the name of the competition to Pan Macmillan Ltd, Web Team, 20 New Wharf Road, London N1 9RR after the closing date.

11. By entering the competition the winner agrees to participate in such promotional activity and material as Private Eye Property may require.

12. The prize will not be transferable to another person.

13. No part of a prize is exchangeable for cash or any other prize.

14. If an advertised prize is not available, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.

15. Incorrectly completed entries will be disqualified.

16. This competition is being run by Private Eye Property Limited of Melbury Road, London

17. Please read our Privacy Policy which tells you how we use any personal information we may collect about you by entering a competition.

18. Private Eye Property reserves the right to amend these rules at any time.

19. Private Eye Property will endeavour to send prizes within a month of the competition end date but cannot guarantee this delivery time.
